Primofit® Equal Tee – 32mm MDPE Black

A range of compression fittings to join yellow gas MDPE pipe together and for transition; i.e. to join yellow gas MDPE pipe to steel pipe (pipe to BS EN 10255:2004 (BS 1387:1985), DIN 2440/2441/2442/2448 Series 1 or 2458 Series 1). Fittings are made by a BS EN ISO 9001:2008 registered company. The pipe is inserted into the fitting to the predetermined length and the nut tightened. Special tools are not required. Instructions are supplied with each fitting. Fittings for use with MDPE pipes are supplied complete with insert stiffeners.

Suitable for Natural Gas and LPG.

Nut and body material: Black Malleable Iron or galvanised.
Maximum pressure at 20°C 7 bar (maximum operating pressure is dependent on MDPE pipe specification and standard).
Angular deflection: the joint will cope with a misalignment of the connected pipe of up to 6° inclusive.
Seal material: Nitrile compound.
Threads: Male, BSP taper to BS 21 (ISO 7-1) female, BSP parallel to BS 21 (ISO 7-1).
Temperature range: -20 to 40°C.
