Press-fit 28mm x 1″ Male Union – XPress 316L Stainless steel fitting designed for use on potable water (including water purified by reverse osmosis), pharmaceutical, health care, food processing, low temperature hot water and chilled water applications. Press fitting ends have a Leak Before Press (LBP) feature to indicate if joint has not been pressed. For identification fitting has EPDM black O-rings. Fitting provides electrical continuity when pressed. Fitting should not be painted or come into contact with cleaning products, paint, grease, flux, mineral oil, adhesive or other solvent based materials during installation, lagging or after installation. For installation of the fitting a REMS tool and tongs are required.
